If you see an erupting volca**, your first instinct may be to run, but travel vlogger Ryan Purvis' reaction was to snap a selfie.*

Purvis recently found himself near Mount Semeru, an active volca** in East Java, Indonesia, when he spotted the volca** erupting and quickly grabbed his camera to check out the action.*

Clearly, Purvis was totally stoked to see the eruption so close.

"In-fucking-sane," Purvis said after watching the eruption. "That was the coolest thing I've ever seen."*
