ISLAMABAD: Col (r) Saifud Din Qureshi, Chairman of the PM’s Inspection Commission (PMIC), was told on Wednesday in his ****** that he has been sacked through a **tification issued by the Cabinet Secretariat. ** reason has been sighted in the termination **tification.

The mission of the Prime Minister's Inspection Commission is to ensure good governance, transparent and accountable administration in the federal government's ministries, divisions, departments and auto**mous bodies through monitoring, evaluation and enabling guidelines.

Col (r) Saif, when contacted by The News, said, “Allah has been very kind on me and in my termination, too, I see the will of God, and it will be for better.” He said that those who knew him can tell that what kind of person he is. Replying to a question, he maintained that ** hurdle was created in “inquiries” being conducted by the PM’s Inspection Commission.
