Centre asked to ensure implementation of KP?s CPEC projects
PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser on Tuesday asked the federal government to ensure implementation of the China-Pakistan Eco**mic Corridor (CPEC) projects in all the federating units.
Talking to Chairman of CPEC Front Mohsin Ali at his chamber, he said the rights of the people of Khyber Pakhtun-khwa would be protected at all costs in this mega project. He said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government wanted equal progress of people in all the four provinces to develop the country. Terming CPEC as a a game-changer, he said it should **t be politicised. Asad Qaiser said the federal government had pledged to upgrade two main routes and establish two industrial zones in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He said the federal government had assured them to construct a road to connect Fata, which would prove as a gateway to Afghanistan. Asad Qaiser hoped the federal government would ho**ur its commitments and remove the sense of deprivation among the people of Khyber Pakhtun-khwa.
