Between the fake tuxedos, off-the-shoulder drapes, cheesy backgrounds and subpar lighting, yearbook pictures have a history of just **t turning out great.

Makeup artist and high school senior James Charles is changing that with a simple trick: the 17-year-old brought his own ring light to the shoot.

Charles shared his flawless photos on Twitter, and so far he has received over 76,000 likes and over 29,000 retweets.



Charles wrote to Mashable to explain how the gorgeous picture came to be.

"I woke up really early a week ago to get glam for my picture. I recently got into makeup and wanted to have a pretty iconic picture since I knew it would live forever with myself and all my friends at school," Charles told Mashable. Read more...
