A UK-based education charity, Inspiring The Future, has produced a telling video that demonstrates how young children have gendered preconceptions about their future career paths.*

The film is part of the organisation's "Redraw the Balance" initiative, which seeks to highlight the young age at which gender stereotypes are formed.*

In the video, the charity group visits a classroom of primary school children and asks the pupils to draw a firefighter, a surgeon and a fighter pilot; 61 of the resulting pictures depict men, while just five show women. * Read more...
