Sri Lanka elect to bat against Australia
 

Pallekele, Sri Lanka: Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first against Australia in the fifth and final one-day international in Pallekele on Sunday.

The hosts have lost the ****** 3-1 and are playing for pride. They are without injured skipper Angelo Mathews and are led by wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Chandimal.

Mathews, who suffered a calf injury in the previous ODI in Dambulla, is also doubtful for the team´s two Twenty 20 internationals against Australia.

Sri Lanka have made four changes to the side that suffered a crushing loss on Wednesday in Dambulla, with Danushka Gunathilaka, Upul Tharanga, Dasun Shanaka and Suranga Lakmal added to the starting lineup.

The David Warner-led Australia are unchanged from Wednesday´s ******-clinching win.
