Man killed in Bannu clash
BANNU: A man was killed and a**ther sustained injuries when rival groups traded fire in Salima Sikandarkhel on Friday, official sources said. They said that rival groups headed by Arif and Adnan traded fire in the limits of the Saddar Police Station. As a result, Adnan was killed on the spot while Arif sustained injuries. The body and the injured were taken to the District Headquarters Hospital in Bannu where condition of the injured was stated to be stable. The body was handed over to the family members for burial after carrying out autopsy at the hospital. One of the affected patients, 55-year-old Rehmatullah, was under treatment but could **t recover and died. It engulfed five other tents.Fifteen cattle were also devoured by the fire they said, adding that the cause of blaze is being ascertained.
