JHELUM: It has been disclosed in the much-publicized Samia Shahid murder case that the British national of Pakistani origin was subjected to rape before being murdered.

Sources disclosed that Samia's first husband, Chaudhry Muhammad Shakeel, first raped her and then went on to murder the 28 year-old Bradford resident, who had come to Jhelum in July to visit her relatives. Chaudhry Shakeel committed the murder with the help of Samia's father, Chaudhry Muhammad Shahid. This was disclosed by the investigating ******r of the case.

Geo News has also obtained a copy of the Punjab Forensic Science Agency's report. The report confirms reports that the deceased was raped before she was killed.

Samia's second husband, Mukhtar Syed Kazam, who is the complainant in the murder case, had claimed that her wife had been killed by her relatives since they disapproved of her marriage with him. Samia's relatives had claimed that she had passed away due to a heart attack, when news of her death spread.
