DPO orders quashment of fake FIR against journalists

PHOOLNAGAR: Kasur DPO Ali Nasir Rizvi on Thursday visited Phoolnagar City police station and ordered quashment of a fake FIR against journalists.

The DPO issued orders after hearing the complaint of local journalists. Speaking on the occasion, the DPO said that fake cases would **t be registered in future.

The Union of Journalists and the Phoolnagar Press Club representatives Rana Kashif Shaukat, Malik Abdur Razzaq, Rana Khalid Javed, Rana Amir, Nawazish Ali, Zafar Iqbal, Ashraf Tahir and Zahid Minhas, Anjuman-e-Tajran Phoolnagar president Rana Ramzan, Phoolnagar Bar Association representative Arshad Mehmood and others have welcomed the DPO’s decision.
