KARACHI: The beleaguered Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has ******* name of its founder from its flag, days after Altaf Hussain’s telephonic speech which led to violence amid anti-Pakistan slogans.

Geo News on Thursday reported that MQM’s flag , which previously carried Hussain’s name, will **w have its election symbol kite.

Shopkeepers say the MQM flags are **w being sold without the party founder’s name, adding that they have received orders for thousands of new flags.

MQM has faced a *****down after Altaf Hussain's speech, with authorities in Sindh razing party ******s which they said were set up on government lands.
