Henry Rollins nails argument for overdue marriage equality in Australia

Henry Rollins, while in Australia for his first ever spoken word tour, appeared on the panel show The Project and gorgeously summed up the ridiculousness of the push against marriage equality in the country.

When asked his thoughts on why Australia has struggled to have legislation passed for an equal rights marriage act, Rollins quipped, "This marriage inequality flap you’re having is below your country, it is below your conversation. You should just get rid of it, let two men get married. You’ll wake up tomorrow morning, everything will be fine. You keep on going."

Instead of backing away from the nationally divisive subject, Rollins continued "This is really below the intellectual quotient of the conversation that Australia should be having, **w and forever. It really is below you."* Read more...
