For a limited time, Häagen-Dazs Japan is offering Murasaki Imo (purple potato) ice cream for the first time since 2013.*


In 2012 and 2013, the ice cream was released seasonally in Japan and was a huge hit both times.*

This return, which was an**unced on Twitter on Aug. 29, has been heralded by many as perhaps the greatest addition to the ice cream market since hot fudge.*


"Purple potato taste of Haagen-Dazs because was so delicious, so everyone take a look at!"
