In 36 Hours, More Than 10,000 People Are Rescued In The Mediterranean
 

The Italian navy and aid groups rescued an additional 3,000 people coming from Libya on Tuesday. Italy is struggling to handle the more than 10,000 people who have arrived there in the last two days.
