PML-N?s Yousuf Kuseliya wins PP-232 by-elections *
 

LAHORE: Ruling party Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidate Yousuf Kuseliya has the by-elections for the constituency PP-232 Vehari-I, according to u**fficial and unconfirmed results.

According to the u**fficial and unconfirmed results of all 157 polling stations, Yousuf Kuseliya secured 51, 323 votes.

Ayesha Nazir Jutt of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) secured the second position after getting 50, 267 votes.

Meanwhile counting of votes on NA-63 Jhelum-II was still underway, however, Raja Matloob of PML-N is leading followed by PTI candidate Fawad Chaudhary.

According to Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Punjab ******, the total number of registered voters were 427,757 for NA-63 Jhelum-II

The seat fell vacant after the death of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Malik Iqbal Mehdi who secured NA-63 seat by getting 116013 votes in the general elections 2013.

On the other hand, seat of PP-232 fell vacant after MPA Yousuf Kaseliya was disqualified for concealing assets.

The total number of registered voters for the provincial seat is 191,092.
