New partnerships will let you tell your So**s speakers what music to play

NEW YORK — So**s took a look at the future and realized that it's time to put partners first.

The wireless audio system company an**unced a new collaboration with Amazon Alexa to enable voice control for So**s systems, as well as a host of software updates, including one that will let Spotify users control their So**s wireless audio systems with the Spotify mobile and desktop apps.

The latter change will bring together the "Spotify connect ecosystem from headphone, cars and any connected device to So**s speakers," said Spotify's Global head of hardware partnerships Ian Geller.

The Amazon Alexa partnership will enable, in early 2017, voice control of So**s systems across all Amazon Echo hardware, including Tap and Dot.A [private beta will arrive later this year. Read more...
