Gene Wilder died aged 83 Monday, leaving an unforgettable legacy on celluloid.

From his Oscar-**minated turn as an accountant in Mel Brooks' The Producers to his roles in Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein, his work with Richard Pryor in the likes of Stir Crazy and See ** Evil, Hear ** Evil,and of course his inimitable take on Willy Wonka, he's delighted generations.

He also has the dubious ho**r of becoming a massive internet meme.
