Pak Embassy in Washington **tifies expiry of manual passports
 

WASHINGTON: The embassy of Pakistan Friday **tified Pakistanis in general and passport holders in particular that the manual or hand-written passports will officially go out of business by the end of next month.

A **tification in this regard was circulated saying that according to the rules governed by the international civil aviation organizations the manual passports will **t be accepted after September 2016. The same dates have been placed as a deadline resultantly.

The embassy also encouraged manual passport holders to avail themselves of machine readable passports in due time. The **tice also mentioned that MRP facilities were available at all the missions including Chicago, Los Angeles, Houston, and New York. The MRP facility was initiated **t long ago and an increasing number of citizens availed themselves of the opportunity.
