Man killed, 5 hurt in accident

PAKPATTAN: A man was killed while five others sustained injuries in an accident near Chak Dhallar on Sunday.

Three bikes collided on Bonga Hayat Road. As a result, Ali Shan died on the spot while five others including Shafqat were seriously injured.

Five accused including Asghar allegedly abducted Sabir Ali over enmity. Police have registered a case.

PAKPATTAN: The city and its adjoining areas received heavy rain on Sunday.

The Pakpattan city and its adjoining areas including **orpur, Malka Hans, Bonga Hayat, Chawant, Chak Bedi, Pir Ghani, Purana Thana, Kalyana and Qaboola received heavy rain, which turned weather pleasant. However, the rainwater entered into the houses of low-lying areas created problems for the people.
