CTD arrests prayer leader

TOBA TEK SINGH: The CTD on Sunday arrested prayer leader Mateeur Rehman Ludhianvi.

He is a prayer leader of a mosque at Chak 358/GB, Mughli. The reason behind his arrest could **t be k**wn so far. He was shifted to an unk**wn place for interrogation.

MAN ROBBED: An incident of dacoity was reported near Chak 301/JB on Gojra-Toba Road on Sunday.

Mumtaz Hussain, salesman of a bottled water company, was on his way when two dacoits intercepted him and snatched Rs 75,000, a mobile phone and other valuables from him.

BUTCHER BOOKED: Gojra City police on Sunday booked a butcher for slaughtering a cow without permission of a veterinary ******r here.

The case has been registered on the complaint of Veterinary Tehsil ******r Dr Nawaz Butt. Police are conducting raids to arrest the accused.
