Cable network owner shot dead in Gojra
 

TOBA TEK SINGH: the owner of a cable network was shot dead at Gojra on Friday.

Ismaar Javed of Chak 279/JB Darapur and accused Nawaz alias Jajji of Chak 361/JB had a dispute over cable network business. On the day of the incident, accused Nawaz and his four accomplices allegedly shot Ismaar dead.

Gojra Sadar police have registered a case and are conducting raids to arrest the accused persons. Later, relatives of the deceased staged a demonstration against the murder by placing dead body on Gojra-Painsara Road and blocked traffic in protest. The traffic was blocked and talks were underway between the police officials and the protesters.
