A Britney Spears biopic, Britney, is getting the Lifetime movie treatment.

The TV movie will detail "the tumultuous story of pop icon Britney Spears’ rise to fame, fall from grace and eventual triumphant resurrection." Natasha Bassett (Hail, Caesar!) will star as Britney, per the Hollywood Reporter.*

Heck effing yes.

A press release touts that the project, due in 2017, will **t only hit Spears' professional moments (i.e. wearing a python), but also examine the good and bad points of her relationship with one Justin Timberlake, a move that ** doubt thrills Mr. Timberlake. This TV movie will **t, presumably, have music rights to their respective catalogs, which means fans will have to provide their own soundtrack of "Everytime" and "Cry Me A River" to accompany their viewing.
