To some people, librarians might be the least likely to play a sport, let alone invent one, but here we are. Make way for synchronised shelving! Elite swimmers and running champs, be gone. It's time for some book worms to show us what they're made of.*

Synchronised shelving is the creation of Invercargill City Libraries and Archives in New Zealand, who have uploaded a video demonstrating the sport for its potential selection.*
