Chopsticks aren't just for eating with anymore.

Tokyo-based composer and inventor Sami Elu has created a "pia**" made out of chopsticks, which he uses by plucking pia** wires and playing the chopsticks like pia** keys. There's also a little drum set, so Elu can operate his own percussion section.

This isn't the first iteration of the chopstick pia**, but it's certainly the most complex. Elu has been building different versions of his invention for years — and he plans to keep going.

Bonus: The chopstick pia** songbook is wonderfully calming. We'd listen to it before bed, for sure.
