Let’s get real about #InternautDay.

Today is being celebrated as the 25th anniversary of public access to the World Wide Web, (aka Happy #InternautDay), but in the history of the internet and Web access, this is a fairly inauspicious date. *In fact, my recollection of Aug. 23, 1991, is that there really was ** such thing as public Internet or something called (much more frequently then) the World Wide Web. There was certainly **thing approaching the tiniest fraction of the Web we experience today.
