PTI candidate for UC chairman killed in Lahore
 

LAHORE: Armed men gunned down a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate for the post of chairmanship of union council here on Saturday. Police said that armed men opened fire at the PTI candidate for chairman from UC-33 Lahore, Tanveer Ahmed, leaving him critically injured and fled from the scene. The injured succumbed to his wounds while being shifted to hospital. The body was handed over to heirs after postmortem.
