Forces kill 9 terrorists, destroy 6 hideouts in Khyber Agency
 

RAWALPINDI: Nine terrorists have been killed in an aerial and ground operation of security forces in Rajgal area of Khyber Agency.

According to ISPR, six hideouts of terrorists were also destroyed along with ammunition and ******* in the operation.

The Army Chief General Raheel Sharif on Friday visited to frontline troops busy in operations along Pak-Afghan border in Khyber Agency.

The Army Chief was given detailed briefing on progress of operations and gains consolidated so far.

Talking to troops, he directed enhanced vigilance and pro-active approach to stop any type of movement of terrorists

Showing satisfaction over the progress of the operation, Gen. Raheel Sharif appreciated the highest state of morale and professionalism shown in fighting terrorists of various organisations hiding in the most rugged terrain.

Clearance of mountain passes in Rajgal despite this being the most treacherous terrain where terrorists were entrenched on the high mountain passes to stay both sides of the border, is a manifestation of Pakistan's commitment to check cross border movement. This will go a long way in helping Pakistan's initiative of border management.
