Corruption charges

2 staffers of health dept suspended

NANKANA SAHIB: Executive District ******r (Health) Dr Muhammad Ashraf Wednesday suspended two staffers of the department on corruption charges.

Reportedly, the EDO suspended dispenser Qasim and driver Ghulam Yasin of RHC, Morkhunda, for taking bribe for a medico-legal report.

The EDO also visited RHCs of Chandar Nagar, Bahawal Kot, Nathuwala and Panwan and issued show cause **tices to staffers for remaining absent from duty.

He also dismissed dispenser Khalid of BHU of Machora over corruption.

Meanwhile, Dr Muhammad Asif Saleemi has been appointed Medical Superintendent of the DHQ Hospital, Nankana.
