KP NAB arrests police official for corruption
 

PESHAWAR: The National Accountability Bureau Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday arrested an official of police department in Sindh province for allegedly accumulating illegal assets worth approximately Rs20 million.

A statement said the matter was brought into the **tice of NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa authorities. Taking cognizance of the matter inquiry was authorised to ascertain the real facts and collect requisite evidence regarding moveable and immoveable properties owned, controlled and possessed by the accused person in their name and in the name of their dependents, said the statement.

During the course of inquiry, it was revealed that the accused Chanzeb, Official of Police Department, Sindh, Karachi, piled up assets worth millions of rupees in his name and in the name of his dependents.
