High school student and Miss World 2016 finalist, Elyse Miller-Kennedy, has died at 17, after a head-on car crash left her in critical condition on Aug. 3.*

The **rth Queensland resident was beloved in the small Dimbulah community of Queensland, Australia and was held up as a role model for Indige**us young women after only recently competing in the Miss World Australia pageant alongside other young finalists, including Yolngu woman, Mag**lia Maymuru.*
