LOS ANGELES — Move over, Captains Kirk and Picard.

At CBS' Television Critics Association presentation Wednesday, Star Trek Discovery showrunner Bryan Fuller revealed the new ****** will feature a female lead — and that she will **t be a captain.

There will also "absolutely" be a gay character on board, Fuller said.*

"We're going to deep into something that was for me always very tantalizing and to tell that story through a character who is on a journey that is going to teach her how to get along with others in the galaxy," Fuller told reporters.* Read more...
