Locals irked by excessive outages

LALAMUSA: Locals braved excessive power loadshedding on Friday.

Unscheduled loadshedding disrupted their daily routine. Citizens of several areas complained of receiving very low voltage that damaged their home appliances and **w they are forced to use traditional hand fans to cool off their children.

The locals offered Friday prayers in intense heat in mosques and urged the relevant authorities to look into the matter. When contacted, the city sub-division SDO said extra loadshedding was caused as less power supply was available from the main power supply line.
