Tehreek-i-Tahaffuz-i- Haqooq Malakand to protest on Aug 17
 

BATKHELA: Members of the Tehreek-i-Tahaffuz-i- Haqooq, Malakand, have decided to register a protest against lawlessness and **n-cooperative behaviour of the administrative officials in the area on August 17.

Addressing a forum at the Batkhela Press Club, the members of the movement an**unced the deadline for the protest. They said that they would take to the streets if the provincial government failed to take action.

Shah Raz Khan of Jamaat-e-Islami, Awami National Party’s Ijaz Ali Khan, Pakistan People’s Party’s Mehboobur Rehman, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazal’s Maulana Javed, Qaumi Watan Party’s Nek Muhammad and others spoke on the occasion.

They also said the Tehreek-i-Tahaffuz-i-Huqooq Malakand would struggle to get Malakand’s share in the China-Pakistan Eco**mic Corridor (CPEC).Shah Raz Khan said that natural calamities and militancy had completely damaged the infrastructure in the division. He said the government should focus on the provision of facilities and development of the area.
