When Ellis Hill's son, Darrell, qualified for the Rio Olympics in the shot put event, he was exceptionally proud. But he never thought he'd actually get to go and see him compete for Team USA in Brazil.

Then Ellis, who works as an Uber driver in the Philadelphia area, picked up passenger Liz Willock. During the course of an hour journey, the pair chatted and he eventually revealed his son was an Olympian. There was ** way on Earth he could afford to go see him compete though, he added.
