Cargo plane overshoots runway during a storm in Italy, ends up on a road

A cargo plane operating for the shipping company DHL overran a runway at Bergamo's Orio al Serio International Airport in Italy on Friday, and came to a stop perched precariously over a provincial highway road.*

The plane, a Boeing 737-400F, attempted to land as heavy showers and thunderstorms were moving through the Milan area in **rthern Italy early in the morning around 4 a.m. local time.*

The flight originated at Charles De Gaulle Airport in Paris.
