James Corden will get the 'Peter Rabbit' movie hopping at Sony

LOS ANGELES — James Corden is in negotiations to voice Beatrix Potter's furry friend Peter Rabbit in a live-action/CG hybrid movie taking shape at Sony, Mashable has confirmed.

Rose Byrne is also in negotiations to join the project in a live-action role.

Will Gluck (Easy A) is directing from a script by Rob Lieber that he's currently revising. Gluck is also producing with Zareh Nalbandian of Animal Logic Entertainment.

The story is expected to find mischievous Peter Rabbit at odds with Mr. McGregor, an old man eager to keep rabbits out of his cherished garden. Read more...
