Tokyo Disney Resort was hit by a powerful lightning strike on Tuesday at about **on, resulting in a sweeping outage across its theme parks.

The resort complex comprises two theme parks, Disneyland and DisneySea. It appears the park went silent, as many attractions ground to a halt and other landscape features such as fountains and music speakers stopped.*
