Yet Gurgaon, often described as India's 'millennium city' has been brought to a standstill since yesterday due to heavy rains.* As a result of the downpour on July 28, many Gurgaon roads have been waterlogged, causing massive traffic jams and leaving commuters stranded in their vehicles for up to seven hours.
