The CW (Supergirl's new home) just released the first photo of Supergirl (Melissa Be**ist) with her cousin, Superman (Tyler Hoechlin).

Superman is joining the show when the program returns for its second season Oct. 10.

At Comic-Con over the weekend, Hoechlin shared his excitement at being cast, but **ted he hadn't yet tried on the iconic suit, so this photo is a brand-new development.

"[It's] incredibly surreal," Hoechlin **ted at a Comic-Con panel for the show. "I k**w this character means so much to so many people. There's a responsibly to the character.
