Ehtesab Commission stopped from arresting accused
 

PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Wednesday stopped the KP Ehtesab Commission from arresting a citizen in a case related to sale of land to the University of Peshawar at a higher price in **wshera district.

A two-member bench issued the restraining order. Ibrahim Shah, a landowner, had filed the petition through his lawyer Naveed Akhtar, seeking restraining order from the court to direct the Ehtesab Commission **t to arrest him. However, the court asked the petitioner to cooperate with the commission. The petitioner’s lawyer submitted there are allegations against his client that he had sold land to the UoP on higher rate.
