Valuables taken away
From Our Correspondent PAKPATTAN: Thieves Wednesday took away cash and other valuables. Three thieves stole gold ornaments, and other things worth Rs 185,000 from the house of Kareem of Baharampur. Two thieves stole a water pump worth Rs 8,000 from the house of Nasir Hussain of Fareed Nagar, Pakpattan. Six thieves stole cash, clothes worth Rs 319,000 from the house of Adnan Ahmed of Chak Rakh Malka Hans. Khadim Hussain parked his motorbike outside his house and had entered the house. When he came back he found it missing. Police have registered cases. PROJECTS COMPLETION: District Coordination ******r (DCO) Irfan Ahmad Sindhu Wednesday directed the building department to complete its projects until August 15. Addressing a meeting of the district development committee, the DCO said all projects would be completed in time without any delay. EDO (Finance) Muhammad Atizaz and others were also present. The DCO has sanctioned seven new development schemes of the district. THREE BOOKED FOR DECANTING: Police on the report of Civil Defence ******r booked three shopkeepers on charges of decanting. Police booked shopkeepers Muhammad Mumtaz, Abdul Hameed and Naveed of Karkhana Bazaar, Arifwala. BODY FOUND: Fareed Kot police post Wednesday recovered a dead body of a 50 years old woman from a canal. Police dis*****ed the body to DHQ Hospital. Later the body was handover to her hairs THREE SHOS TRANSFERRED: District Police ******r (DPO) Kamaran Yusuf Malik Wednesday transferred three SHOs. The DPO transferred SHOs Ch Afzal, Rana Tanveer and Ameen Kathia. ***** RECOVERED: Police arrested drug peddlers and recovered ***** from their possession. Police arrested Tanveer Abbas of Chak Sikandar Chowk with 60 gram charas and Mushtaq Ahmad of Chak 16/SP with a pistol.
