Protesters demand rickshaw parking lot

TOBA TEK SINGH: Scores of rickshaw drivers Wednesday staged a sit-in outside the TMA Complex demanding allotment of land for rickshaw parking stand.

The protesters entered the complex and parked their rickshaws in the premises.

National Labour Federation (NLF) leaders Abdul Majeed Salik and Muhammad Yousaf, National Rickshaw Drivers Union leader Abdul Jabbar Bhuller warned the TMA administration that if they were **t given a suitable piece of land for parking lot they will **t allow the TMA to auction rickshaw parking fee contract for the current financial year.

Later, TMO Rana Ghulam Dastagir talked to the protesters and assured them that their issue would be resolved in two days.
