A Duluth, Minnesota, bear found sweet refuge in a magical backyard oasis otherwise k**wn as a plastic kiddie pool.

Duluth resident Dave Zbaracki snapped a photo of the large black bear napping in his kid's pool on a recent hot summer day, reports the Star Tribune.*


Zbaracki tells the paper that he took a double take when he first saw the large bear resting in the shade.*

His large black Newfoundland dog — safe from danger inside the house —barked and whined while the backyard intruder napped leisurely on the deck.

This isn't Zbaracki's first bear sighting of the week— he says he saw the animal pawing through his neighbor's trash on Monday. Read more...
