College student uses Twitter to return Ivanka Trump's lost earring

Thank heavens for social media-savvy college students.

Tragedy struck at the Republican National Convention this week when Ivanka Trump misplaced her long, white and elegantly tampon-esque earring. The next day, an Ohio student, who goes by Annabelle Marie on Twitter, somehow discovered it under Ivanka's seat.

Thus began Annabelle's Twitter quest.



After tweeting at Ivanka several times, Annabelle reached out to several television network employees, including Today's Savannah Guthrie.*
