Activist combatted misogyny at the Republican convention by buying shirts

It seems like everyone at this week's Republican National Convention is trying to make a statement, but one activist put her money where her mouth is.

A particularly aggressive vendor, whose specialty was shirts that said "Hillary Sucks, but **t Like Monica" on the front and "Trump That Bitch" on the back, reportedly also yelling those phrases over and over near the arena.*

It really bothered Sarah Wellington.*

She attended the RNC with We Will **t Be Silent, a project in which artists and activists respond to, "current social justice issues, encouraging creative, direct public actions" through the use of language on shirts and signs, according to their website. Read more...
