Workshop concludes

TOBA TEK SINGH: A two-day workshop on safety of journalists in Pakistan under the aegis of an NGO concluded here on Friday.

Addressing the concluding session, master trainer Sadia Mumtaz said that journalists were working in a very challenging environment in Pakistan. She said many journalists were killed in Pakistan over the past decade. She said it was the time to enable journalists with skills to make themselves safer in the field. About two dozen journalists from all over the district were trained by trainers on reporting from difficult areas and in difficult situations.
