If you lived in Auckland, New Zealand, you'd be able to take a far more scenic route. Designed by Monk Mackenzie Architects, the Nelson St Cycleway project, dubbed the "LightPathAKL," turned 600 metres of unused highway offramp into a bright pink streak through the city.
