Police chief pens passionate letter to fellow ******rs after Dallas shooting

A police chief in Kenyon, Minnesota has posted a powerful response to Thursday night's shootings in Dallas that left five ******rs dead and seven injured.

Writing on his local force's Facebook page, Lee Sjolander issued an appeal to his fellow ******rs to stay calm and kind following the events of this week and to remember that "it's **t 'us vs. them'" when it comes to policing.

His thoughts have resonated far beyond the small city itself, with 2,800 reactions at the time of writing and almost 1,000 shares on Facebook.
