Miami-based smartphone maker Blu, k**wn — like so many companies these days — for producing cheap phones with solid specs, has a new phone out, and it promises something that all smartphone owners crave: decent battery life.*

The Blu Energy XL is a 6-inch Android smartphone with a 5,000mAh battery which, while **t unheard of (Acer Liquid Zest Plus has one, for example, and the Oukitel K10000 has an insane 10,000mAh battery), is definitely one of the larger batteries we've seen.*
