Girl murdered, cousin injured for foiling rape

PAKPATTAN: A girl was killed and her cousin injured for foiling rape at Chak 30/EB.

Ahsan and Shahzad entered the house of labourer Zafar Iqbal and allegedly tried to rape his daughter ‘A’ and niece ‘S’, but they resisted. It infuriated the accused and they shot at and injured them. They were shifted to a hospital where the girl ‘S’ died. Police have registered a case and started investigation.
