Doctors rubbished rumours that the social worker was scheduled to undergo major surgery at the SIUT. They claimed that Edhi Sahib’s health was stable and he did **t require any major or mi**r surgery. “Edhi Sahab has been visiting SIUT for several years for dialysis treatment and in case any complication arises, he is admitted to the hospital. This time too, he came for routine dialysis for which he was admitted to the hospital. After his condition stabilised, he was discharged,” a senior doctor at the SIUT told The News on the condition of a**nymity. “He required insertion of a catheter into his urinary tract bladder to removing excessive fluid from his body. It is often done when the doctors feel it is necessary. “Insertion of a catheter is in ** way a major surgery and the procedure can be done anytime at the SIUT. ** special arrangements are required to perform this procedure that takes a few minutes at the most.” http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/com/YEor/~4/he18A2Cv2IQ أكثر... |
